Sensitive Skin
If you have sensitive skin like me, I bet you are also having trouble choosing what kind of products to use . Here are some tips on how to choose the best skin products for sensitive skin:
1) Choose skin products meant specifically for sensitive skin. There are products for oily, normal or combination skin and then there are products especially meant for sensitive skin. In each of these, there will be certain ingredients that address your skin's concern.
2) Remember to take off all your make-up before going to bed. When doing so, choose a make-up remover especially meant for sensitive skin. Why? Because it has to be able to remove make-up and deep-seated dirt yet still be gentle on your skin.
3) When choosing a moisturizer, know what sensitive skin is easily irritated so aside from moisturizing properties, you will need products with soothing or anti-inflammatory ingredients like licorine. This ingredient reduces skin redness and alleviates the tight feeling you get when your skin is irritated.
4) Say no to fragrances and no to colorants. Go for products which don't have perfumes or too much preservatives. You will find that these products are the mildest and safest especially when your skin is the type to breakout easily.
5) Once you find the perfect product, stick to it. Don't switch just because you became curious over an advertisement you saw. Better safe than sorry!
